The Constitution of Dibillilia
Dibillilia Constitution
Today, on the 20 of February, 2014, we the people of Dibillilia hereby declare the fair land of Dibillilia to be a sovereign, independent country.
Article 1
People of Dibillilia
The citizens of Dibillilia are humans who have been born in the nation, whose parents are citizens, or who have been naturalized.
The official language is English.
Article 2
Powers of the Monarch
The current monarch of the land will have the power to create, amend, and abolish laws, grant pardon to prisoners, engage in diplomatic relations, including war, and appoint ministers. The monarch also has a large number of minor powers, such as the ability to issue postage, issue coinage, grant passports and grant citizenship. The Monarch has the ability to choose the ministers, to oversee what they are doing, and to interfere with their activities.
Article 3
Ministers
There will be eight ministers, each with separate, unique powers. These seven ministers are:
Minister of Justice- acts as a judge in legal court cases. Also Appoints Jurors and maintains the laws.
Minister of Economy- responsible for designing, making, and distributing currency. Also responsible for advising the monarch on plans and policies to improve the Dibillilian policies, and is in charge of monitoring foreign trade.
Minister of Public Affairs- Responsible for designing and maintaining public symbols, such as the flag, coat of arms, national anthem, and seal of office. Is also responsible for tourism, spreading publicity for Dibillilia and gaining citizens.
Minister of the Homeland- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the condition of Lake Henrietta and the island of Dibillilia. Also makes sure all boats on the lake are water worthy.
Minister of the Armed Forces- Commands the military, is responsible for advising the Monarch on government policies concerning warfare and homeland defense. Can draft troops in times of necessity.
Minister of Foreign Affairs- Responsible for for maintaining relations with foreign powers. Must work closely with the Minister of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Currency.
Minister of Research- responsible for researching topics relevant to Dibillilia and educating the general public about them.
Minister of Health- responsible for maintaining a level of health throughout Dibillilia.

Rights of the People
Denizens of Dibillilia have the rights of freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of religion, the right to peacefully assemble, and the right of protection from unreasonable search and seizure. Property shall not be taken without just compensation. Trials shall be swift and fair, excessive bail and fines are not permitted, and cruel and unusual punishments are illegal.
